Although most of you reading (at least in the early stage of this blog) are likely to know me personally, I would like to introduce myself and tell you a bit about my blog.
My name is Meredith Rowley. I am married to the most kind, creative, and honorable guy I know - Michael. He inspires and encourages me every single day. We have a golden retriever named Paige who is truly too adorable for words. Our little family just moved back "home" to Amarillo, Texas after living in Tulsa, OK for about 3 years. Our time in Tulsa is so special to us as we got married, found our sweet Paige, and shared friendships with some of the most amazing people we'll ever know. Though we miss it often, we are happy to be back in Amarillo and are ready to live out our dreams (more on that later)!
A bit about "Arthur and Alcy"
The main intent behind this blog (if I can be honest) is to fulfill a long-term dream and personal goal of my own. For a long while now, I have recognized within myself a real need to engage in creative efforts, whether public or private. And here I am, years later, releasing the start of a very public blog. I'll have you know, this is a big leap for me, something I've been scared to do for a while, but a journey I cannot wait to begin!!
Of course, I am hoping to share a bit of inspiration with you through design, photography, DIY projects and fashion. I also hope to share snippets of my personal world with you along the way. It is a lifestyle blog, and I would be very honored if you would join me!
I am really excited to be joining the blogging world! There are many established bloggers who I follow faithfully and who truly inspire me; they are a huge part of my "leap"!
The name "Arthur and Alcy" is directly inspired by my mother's parents, my grandmother and papa - Arthur and Alcy (Ann) McKay. They are without a doubt two of the most incredible people I know.
The person that I owe this blog to more than any other is my Mom. She is the real reason that I have a love for creativity and inspiration. There aren't words to explain what she means to me.
So without further ado, let's go!
My love to you,
Meredith Rowley

Congratulations, looks like we both have started our own blog! I'm very excited to follow along and see where this new endeavor leads us.
Cheers,
